The Retreat at Pointer’s Ridge was conceived and founded by its president, Deb Klebanoff. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Deb is a life-long resident (save her college years in Mankato and a five year stint in Connecticut). Since the late 90’s, she has been focused on developing opportunities for enhanced creative and cultural development in the region. She has served on the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce’s Cultural Affairs committee, including a term as its chair, and served for almost a decade with the Sioux Empire Arts Council, including 8 years as its Executive Director.
